My expertise includes evidence-based parenting interventions, and behavioral interventions for children and adolescents. My particular area of interest is preventing social-emotional and behavioral problems for young children through the promotion of positive parenting behaviors. I also conduct psychological and cognitive assessments with children and adolescents. I have worked extensively with young children, school-aged children, adolescents, and their parents in both community and child welfare settings.
I am an Assistant Professor of Counseling Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University, where I direct the CHamP research lab and conduct research focused on parenting factors and child development.
When I’m not working with other families, I love spending time with my three young human children and pets.
