My expertise includes evidence-based parenting interventions, and behavioral interventions for children and adolescents. I am passionate in helping parents learn new ways of promoting their child’s mental health well-being. I also conduct psychological and cognitive assessments with children and adolescents. I have worked extensively with young children, school-aged children, adolescents, and their parents in both community and child welfare settings. I am licensed in New York, California, and Oregon.
I am also an academic and believe in the importance of integrating research and clinical practice. I lived and worked in NYC as an Assistant Professor in Counseling Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University for nearly a decade before transitioning back to my native west coast. I am currently an Associate Professor in Counseling Psychology at the University of Oregon. My research and work continue with the NYC communities I love so much and I’m fully embracing my bicoastal lifestyle!
When I’m not working with other families, I enjoy spending time with my own family, eating great food, and playing tennis.
